Footballer Mario Balotelli Shows off Blue Contacts

Paparazzi-attracting soccer striker Mario Balotelli made the papers again recently, this time not for throwing darts out of a window or setting off fireworks in his house or driving into a women’s prison to ‘have a look around’, but for tweeting pictures of himself sporting bright blue contact lenses. The Italian football star has always been known for his love of fashion and is often snapped wearing the maddest of looks. But the ac milan foot baller stepped up his game recently with the addition of blue contact lenses which completely disguise his usually dark brown eyes. It doesn’t appear to be something he intends to do all the time, but just a little bit of fun playing around with his appearance. Perhaps he just wants his eyes to match his kit as the blue-clad Italy team competes at next year’s World Cup.
Other celebrities though have been using colored lenses for quite some time and you’re probably not even aware that their eye color as it appears in all the pictures of them taken in public is not actually their natural look.
