Awesome costumes!

Awesome costume Ideas!

The most memorable costumes you’ll see at Halloween and fancy dress parties won’t be the professionally hired ones, but the homemade attempts which can be awesome even when completely botched (sometimes their awfulness is their charm). There are lots of options for homemade costumes which you can create pretty cheaply by combining a bit of cosplay with clever make-up and themed contact lenses. Here’s a few of the better costumes you can make at home.

Most Amazing Costume Ideas

A good one for the boys is the Incredible Hulk, which requires a lot of green body paint and a ripped shirt and shorts combo. It can be pretty funny when the guy is not exactly in the best of shape too. Irony and self-deprecation go down well at costume parties, so if you’re not bulging with muscles then simply draw them on with black paint. Add some Green Ghoul Contact Lenses and then get to flexing those drawn on muscles.

Here’s a link to instructions on how to make a Homemade Pacman costume for under $15. You can also pick up some theatrical face paint and turn your face into a mini Pacman. Then just get some friends to dress up the ghosts from the famous video game and chase you around. You could team the yellow-themed outfit with some UV Yellow Contact Lenses.
With a little time and effort you can turn your kids into adorable little sushi snacks. With some foam and the right colored material, you can even turn the whole family into a whole meal. Why not keep the seafood theme going by having one of the family dress up as a whole fish or even a mermaid, using theatrical make-up to give yourself scaly skin and add some weird Yellow Cat contact lenses to perfect the look.

Whichever outfit you decide on, the availability of cheap theatrical make-up and low priced Crazy contact lenses means there’s loads of brilliant combinations you can come up with to be one of the most imaginative fancy-dresser at the party.
